The Nature Conservancy: Asia Pacific data repository
UX Design and Research
The Nature Conservancy’s Asia Pacific Team has decades worth of data from their Fish Biomass and Coral Health research.
Problem was that data live on hard drives and local servers, which made sharing data among TNC science teams worldwide a challenge.
To build the team their own data repository, our first priority was to understand their audiences, and define outcomes, tasks and priorities per role.
Our Recommended Solution was an AWS S3 storage solution coupled with a customized dataverse. We would build the landing page in-house.
